Who is ecoWAtch?
We are a group of people from many areas, all concerned with ecology.
EcoWAtch is a producer group within Community TV Perth, producing programs for distribution via Channel 31.
Can we represent you?
There are three main ways of accessing ecoWAtch:
1. Provide us with existing videos. The videos must be less than 13 minutes in duration (or able to be edited), be copyright free in terms of visuals and music, and be in an acceptable format. For instance, digital, SVHS or Betacam format are acceptable but VHS is not acceptable. Video content must not contravene the relevant broadcasting acts.
2. Provide us with existing video footage that we can edit. It must be copyright free, be of good visual and audio quality and in a suitable format, as in (1) above.
3. For new projects, a storyboard is needed or a clear concept of the project content. We would also appreciate you supplying a presenter or narrator.
We do have a team of volunteers available that may be able to video an event or project for you, or to edit your footage. Alternatively, we can provide instruction on camera use and editing if you want to make your own videos. If you want to visit our video group, go to the Videomakers WA link below.
Music
If you are producing original music or ecology-related songs and would like to air them on ecoWAtch, let us know. Credit will be given to the composer and/or performer.
